Behind the Coffee Houseis a show exploring working musicians and the art of performance. The coffee house movement in the late fifties and early sixties were the folk equivalent of the bebop or modern jazz eras. In these intimate settings, young songwriters like Bob Dylan honed their skills in front of small but appreciative audiences.
